August Seydler´s Library is the main library of the Astronomical Insitute of the Charles University(AU UK). It serves mainly for students of astronomy and astrophysics, Ph.D. students, and for lecturers of our Institute.
The library disposes of the educational magazines and scientific journals, issued by world institutions of the branch of astronomy and astrophysics. The oldest journals date back to time of the foundation of the Astronomical Institute at Charles University in the year 1889.
The students can also borrow books, written mainly in Russian and English. Opening hours are:
